Slow updates

Its been weeks, but going to update quite a bit once I get the photos/videos from Jen's camera

Visiting Family

We're on the east coast today. Drove over early with the whole family, Emma included. Nick got presents from the family on this side, he especially likes the farm toy (since he played with it all day). Horses, pigs, cows, etc in a barn that kind of makes noises when you open stall doors and such. He was pretty freaked out by the hair on some of the animal heads, but got over it pretty quick.

He got to see Nanny, Poppa, Great Nanny and Great Poppa, along with cousin Shad and Aunt Tammie (great aunt?).

He had a tough time going to sleep tonight, although after crying for a bit he curled up next to me and cuddled for awhile before going to bed the first time. He later woke up while we were finishing a Hold-em game. Mom was selfish, she brought him out while we were playing and used him for his baby luck. She ended up knocking everyone else out of the game and winning with an 8 on the turn. He wasn't too impressed with the idea of going back to bed, so he watched some TV with dad while he had a bottle. Not great for development, but it works well when he's feeling mellow. I'll try to get a movie or something up tomorrow.

Ear surgery and some infection

So Nick went through his surgery and recovery fine. He's even been a bit happier if that's possible. With that said, the doc called today and they found a bug in his throat culture so we have to put him on stronger antibiotics. Nothing serious, but hopefully its the cause of his coughing and the new drugs will clear it up.

Have some new videos that haven't been uploaded yet. I'll also see if its worth using this blog for posting pictures as well.

New Blog!

Trying to figure out the blog thing. I put Nick's videos up on a list to the right, in the future I'll just embed them as they come and tag them with "video".
